EDAN FREI is an accomplished recording artist, music producer, composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist from San Francisco. Edan is the co-founder of electro-soul duo, B00TY, who recently released their debut ep on Geffen Records. Edan's work ranges from orchestral film scores, to electronic, funk, pop and hip-hop. Edan began studying classical violin at age four, and by 13 had taught himself over a dozen instruments, and was writing and producing his own music.

After graduating from UCLA with a BA in Theater Film and Television, where he wrote, directed, and scored several award-winning short films, Edan was hired as Sir Anthony Hopkins' personal recording engineer, arranger, and music supervisor. Recently, the two collaborated on the score to Elyse, a feature film starring Hopkins. Additionally, Edan collaborated with Common on the score for the short film Hats starring Sherri Shepherd. Edan also scores commercials and branded content, the most recent being a spot for Target’s Black Beyond Measure Campaign and Bumble’s MEET CUTE series.
